Kitchen Remodeling in Long Island: It's No Longer Just a Woman's Game
People often say, “Dad rules the den, mom reigns in the kitchen.” But is this stereotype still true? According to a piece on The New York Times, this cliche perception is slowly being turned on its head. As Rachel L. Swarns writes, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill published a study that found that the number of men who cooked meals on any given day jumped from 29% to 42% between 1969 and 2008. In other words, just about half the men in the country are contributing to kitchen duties at home.
